Welcome to the Andor Wenneson Inn, {The Wen} a charming retreat nestled along the picturesque Root River State Trail in Peterson, Minnesota. Built in 1904 by the visionary W. Andor Wenneson, this historic gem has undergone a rich history, serving as a haven for rail travelers, a boarding house and even apartments. In 1994, the Ericksons lovingly restored and renovated the inn to its original splendor, adding a delightful carriage house with four additional rooms.

I'm excited to announce that I've recently taken ownership of the Andor Wenneson Inn, and I can't wait for you to fall in love with it as I have. Stepping into this journey, my goal is to build upon the legacy of those who have cherished this quaint and cozy haven throughout the years.

Picture yourself on the inviting front porch, witnessing the vibrant activity along the Root River State Trail. Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of the fountain and the melodies of songbirds in our courtyard. As the day unfolds, tube on the root river or catch the breathtaking sunset over the western bluffs. Peterson's unique charm ensures a nearly mosquito-free environment, allowing you to savor the outdoors well into the evening.

Indoors, your room awaits, adorned with antiques and period furnishings along with spacious modern baths, providing a perfect blend of comfort and nostalgia. I think you’ll find it - and Peterson - to be an amazing restful retreat far from the bustling world outside.
